ABOUT
Neuropsychology SA was developed by Dr Sharon Truter.
South Africa has a rich diversity of cultures and languages, alongside marked differences in levels and quality of education. This makes neuropsychological assessment particularly challenging, but also an area in which South African psychologists have been actively working to develop practical solutions for decades.
These challenges are not unique to South Africa. They are shared by many countries with culturally and linguistically diverse populations, as well as those experiencing increasing migration and population movement across borders.
Neuropsychology SA, originally a hub of information for South African neuropsychologists, has now expanded to support psychologists in other countries—particularly those working in, or interested in, cross-cultural neuropsychology.
