Investigation into Neuropsychology Career Options in South Africa: SACNA Conference Symposium
Many psychologists in South Africa who have expertise in neuropsychology tend to do mostly medico-legal work. However, there are other career paths that psychologists with expertise in neuropsychology can follow, but might be unaware of. The purpose of this symposium is to highlight several neuropsychology careers available to psychologists with expertise in neuropsychology.
Five neuropsychologists agreed to share information about their areas of work, which covered the following: academic/research, aeromedical, functional brain mapping for neurosurgery, hospital in-patient care with disability insurance claims and medico-legal work.
