The Single and Double Letter Cancellation Test by Haarhoff, Gadd, Semenya & van Eeden (2020), is an extension of the cancellation test available in Lezak, Howieson, Bigler & Tranel (2012), and was designed to include a measure of sustained attention.
The test instructions for the Haarhoff et al (2020) Single and Double Letter Cancellation Test can be found in the Haarhoff et al (2020) article (see reference below) and in “Cross-Cultural Cognitive Test Norms: An Advanced Collation from Africa” by Shuttleworth-Edwards & Truter (in preparation).
The test forms consist of the Single Letter Cancellation part (where the examinee is required cancel out the “H” letters) and the Double Letter Cancellation art (where the examinee is required to cancel out the letters “C” and “E”), and are made available on this website with permission of the authors. Examiners wanting for more information about this test need to contact Chevon Haarhoff, at the following e-mail address: chevonhp@gmail.com.
