Course 3: Gait Disorders: The neuropathology underlying unusual walking styles

Course Description: This Mini Course is aimed at psychologists who are interested in and/or who practice in the field of neuropsychology. When patients walk with an unusual gait, practitioners can glean important information by watching how they walk and having the knowledge of what gait disturbances indicate about patients’ neuropathology and neuropsychological functioning. This Mini Course involves watching several demonstrations and explanations of gait abnormalities, using links to YouTube, and then answering questions about the information conveyed by those videos in a multiple choice questionnaire. Access to the Internet is necessary for this Mini Course.

Participants have to answer at 80% of the questions correctly in order to pass a Mini Course.
